Our Pursuit
Auroville is a living experiment in human unity — a place where inner discovery and outer action come together in service of collective evolution. At the heart of this experiment lies a dynamic model of integrated growth, inspired by the Galaxy Plan of Auroville: Peace at the Centre, radiating into zones that mirror the diverse dimensions of human life.
The Auroville Centre engages with this model through six Thematic Areas of action, reflection, and collaboration. These are not isolated departments — but interconnected fields of learning, living, and transformation.
Our pursuit is to advance knowledge and practice in these areas through a strategic blend of innovation, integration, and introspection. We seek to inspire, educate, and equip individuals, communities, and institutions — both in Auroville and across the world — with tools and insights to navigate complexity, foster sustainable development, promote social equity, and co-create a more conscious and harmonious world.
Through rigorous research, capacity-building programs, and collaborative initiatives, we work towards cultivating the conditions for lasting change — grounded in peace, aligned with purpose, and attuned to the planet.
